Obtained with a special digital painting technique, this painting on canvas is part of a limited series collection (100 numbered pieces) representing different subjects taken from photographs linked to Maserati's history. Maserati was a leading actor in the racing competitions of the 1930's. Even after the war, the Modena company continued racing. The A6 GCS was Maserati's first post-war racing car and was designed after the pre-war 6 cylinder model. The first appearance of the "A6G.CS" was at Modena on September, 28th 1947. The racing car was driven and lead to victory by Alberto Ascari (one of the greatest drivers of all time). On its rear side, each picture features the certificate of authenticity that guarantees the uniqueness of the work. Each canvas is signed by Ermanno Cozza, a historian who has collaborated with the company for over fifty years now and who has become a legendary figure for the House of the Trident. The canvas size is 35 X 50 centimetres / 13.78 x 19.68 inches.
